2022 USA CYCLING JUNIOR COACH OF THE YEAR

Carl, an experienced track racer himself, has been running the youth cycling program at Alkek Velodrome as long a most can remember. During this time he has inspired junior riders from their first lap to national championships and beyond! Many can be found in our Hall of Fame!
In addition to being a USA Cycling Level 2 coach, Carl is on the Board of Directors of the GHCF and also has a B.S. in Kinesiology, Movement and Sports Studies.

The Alkek Junior Team is currently raising funds for the 2025 Season through a Lap-A-Thon event on Oct. 26th. The funds will be used to help cover the cost of race entries, provide equipment and racing apparel.
